Responding to state and national needs

The Center for Integrative Natural Science and Mathematics (CINSAM) was established at NKU to enhance the teaching, learning and application of natural sciences and mathematics in the area.

Working in collaboration with teachers from various disciplines, as well as the community, CINSAM develops programs that respond to state and national needs to:

Develop outstanding teachers of science and mathematics at secondary, middle school and elementary levels.
Prepare students for the modern workforce where they will be required to solve complex problems in science and technology from an interdisciplinary perspective.
Educate a citizenry with a refined sense of inquiry and analysis that emdobies integration of knowledge.
