Responsibilities:  General administration of CINSAM, its programs, and its staff.  Specifically responsible for administration of CINSAM research grant program, CINSAM scholarships, Integrated Science courses and the coordination of CINSAM’s involvement with other University programs such as the Celebration of Student Research and Creativity.  Serve on the University’s Outreach Council.  Serve on the Statewide EPSCoR board. 

Activities of CINSAM involve faculty from the Departments of Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics & Geology in the College of Arts and Sciences, the Department of Teacher Education and School Leadership in the College of Education and Human Services, and the Department of Computer Science in the College of Informatics.  The director works with the administrative leadership of these departments and colleges to coordinate faculty activities related to CINSAM.  The center reports through the director to the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.
